what two mages skills life/earth etc.. can i use to deal the most damage n be able to solo most things, one that is good for pve n pvp. also when we add the second main skill what skill r we suppossed to take out to add the new skill?

You want the most damage with mage?
I have 2 suggestions for you:

Wraith/Chaos/Curse/Bow/Avatar/Vestment.
or
Wraith/Chaos/Curse/Bow/Assault/Vestment.

Wraith and Chaos deal the most damage.
Curse obviously for cast-time-reduction.  
Bow for FS5/SR1-5/range instant silence.
Avatar for more damage.
Assault for cast-time-reduciton.
Vestment for cast-time-reduction.

That should be it. Just choose on of those or try your own. Maybe change Bow for a melee skill that you like. Like spear? Nice AOEs.
