Tired of deleting "CAP file?"
They said adding permisions to "CAP" folder of AO not working anymore, so i made this TUT of how to delete "CAP file/Screen Shots of your AO folder for Death Achievement"

All you need: "NOTEPAD"
First: open your notepad and copy paste this:
----------------------------------------
@ECHO OFF
:loop
del /f /q "(your AO folder\cap\*"
goto loop
----------------------------------------
then save it as ("anyname you want".bat), bat = batch file(command prompt)
mine was saved at Drive: D("D\games") xD
NOTE* for windows Vista/7/8 run this as Administrator
for windows XP user just double click it

Explanation:
del = delete file for command prompt or windows Dos
/f = force delete
/q = quite, using this parameter means it will not ask if you want to delete the file(s)
(*/wildcard) after CAP folder = delete all files inside CAP folder

for more info:
Open your CMD/Command Prompt and type: del/?

Reminder:
your CMD/Command Prompt will spam:
The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.
as seen below:

it is because cap0000.jpg is still being save by AO client but after AO finished saving the screen shot it will automatically deleted.

but if your tired of this spamming from batch/cmd/command prompt, you can use vbscript to run this batch/cmd/command prompt hidden using this code:

-----------------------------------------------
set ws = wscript.createobject("WScript.shell")
ws.run("batch file you made.bat"), 0, true
-----------------------------------------------

then save it as ("any name you want".vbs)
VBS stands for Visual Basic Script or VBScript

but after your achievement the only way to stop this is to use "TASK MANAGER"/Ctrl+Alt+Delete then, find cmd.exe and press "End Process/Stop Process"
or make another batch file/cmd/command prompt
and type this code:

----------------------------------------------
@echo off
taskkill /f /im cmd.exe
exit
----------------------------------------------

*taskkill = kill task or kill process/close app
/f = force
/im = image name or process name(*Note: all same name as process name will automatically kill/stop, (Ex. notepad.exe, all opened notepad will automatically kill/stop/close)

for more info open your cmd/command prompt and type "taskkill /?"

*Proof:

*If someone already made/post this method please admin delete this thread

Hope it help xD

As a warning to those who decide to do this - it will delete everything in your cap folder so make sure to save the screenshots you want before doing it.

(You might want to add this in your first post so people will see)

uhm Miss Jen,
as you can see @ that batch code there's already "(*)/Wildcard sign"
@ my Explanation for parameters:
(*/wildcard) after CAP folder = delete all files inside CAP folder

simply it explains that it will delete all files inside CAP Folder/"all your screenshot"

*For those who don't want to delete all files inside "CAP FOLDER"(ALL SCREENSHOTS),
you can re-edit that batch code with +1 number of your last screenshot,
Ex. your last screenshot = cap0203.jpg
all you need to do is to re-edit my batch code and add +1 as said earlier
Ex. "DEL /F /Q "(Your AO Folder\cap\cap0204.jpg"
But to make sure it will delete all NEW added screenshot for your death achievement
add 1 more(+2) because of delay of deleting screenshot while AO still in progress of saving screenshot

so it will look like this:

Ex. Your last screenshot cap0203.jpg

----------------------------------------
@ECHO OFF
:loop
del /f /q "(your AO folder\cap\cap0204.jpg"
del /f /q "(your AO folder\cap\cap0205.jpg"
goto loop
----------------------------------------

*Note you need to add screenshot extension = .jpg
jpg = JPEG(image extension)

For more info about batch file:
Open your Command Prompt "CMD" (For Win Vista/7/8) "Run as Admin"
and type:
---------
help
---------

For more info about parameters of batch/dos command just type:
--------------
"(parameter)/?"
--------------

"/?" stand for "help"

Sorry for being a code noob but as I have no idea what went on up there, I'm gonna ask a simple yet stupid question. So here goes...is this for doing the dying achievements without AB'ing your character for days on end?

If yes, then great! Why are you guys going on about screenshots and CAP files? YC-Monkey174

If no, ignore whatever I said YC-Monkey141

it's about deleting the screenshots automatically when you die ingame so it won't spam your cap folder. It does not help you with the achievement per se.
